Is it possible at all? No matter how I tried, I could combine the too, so in the end I've seen or the effects of, for example, Draining Blast, or the effects of Eldritch Chain, not both of them in one go.
Is it ok?

If you open your warlock's quick cast menu ( 'F' key ), there should be two separate windows: one listing all the spells you have with big icons, and the other with really small icons. If you click on the small icons, for example, on the red icon for Eldritch Chain, the bigger icons should change below, showing you all the combinations possible.

First of all, thank you for answering, I thought they'd crucify me for a stupid question .
As for the question itself: I did use the quick casting panel, but clicking - in any order - on the "shape" icon and then on the "essece" icon granted me only one of those effects, somehow. I will try it again, maybe I was doing something wrong. Or do you see any mistake already?

Another way is to press B to open your spell book. There you should get the differnet combinations, from there tou could drag it to the quichlaunch at the bottom of the screen. If you don't get the combinations you can drag, for exampel, first the eldricht chain to the quicklaunch then the draing blast and drop it on top of the chain. This should work.

Hm, not sure what you're doing wrong. I can't seem to capture the quick cast menu of my Warlock, for some reason, but it looks like this:

QUICKCAST
[weird thingy] [Draining Blast][Eldritch Spear][Brimstone Blast]
WARLOCK
[Level][Beguiling Influence][Eldritch Spear][Draining Blast]
[Level][and so on and so on]

Now, if I click on 'Eldritch Spear' up under Quickcast, the below menu 'Warlock' changes and lists only one Spell, and that would be [Eldritch Spear, Draining Blast], for Level 1 spells my Warlock can cast.

As far as I've played, there are several more Eldritch Blast Shapes ( like Spear ), and several more Eldritch Essence Blasts ( like Draining Blast ). The higher up your level is, the more shapes and the more essences you can get, and the combinations are expanded, but only IF you *have* the shapes and essences. The only thing I can think of in terms of you doing anything 'wrong' is that you're simply not high enough in level yet and thus don't have that many combination possibilities yet. At low levels, the only combination my Warlock could cast was [Eldritch Spear, Draining Blast ], and then later, with more essences and another blast shape, [Eldritch Chain, Draining Blast/Brimstone Blast/Hellrime Blast/etc.].

Edited to add: and you shouldn't have to click on anything twice, it doesn't work that way. You don't manually combine a Blast Shape with an Eldritch Essence. As soon as you have the Blast Shape and an Essence, the combinations thereof should be accessible by clicking on the Blast Shape icon ( red ) in the 'Quickcast' panel, which should change stuff in the 'Warlock' menu.
