Importing From HoTU to NWN ?

I never finished the original NWN campaign. I am considering importing one of several epic HoTU characters into the OC. My plan is to crank up the difficulty level to the end of the slider and go without henchmen (they are a bit pointless in NWN1 anyway).
My question is, will enemies be automatically levelled to match my PC (around level 27)? If they aren't, will pushing up the difficulty slider help to make for some challenge?
Basically, I'd just like to see how the rest of the epic levels play out.

No.
The game will try to match your level, but it will not be able to scale completely to your level. There are some max amount on spawn numbers and, I belive, their level. So you'll not meet 5 level 27 mobs instead of 5 level 3 mobs.
Especially considering the OC was orignally made with a cap level of 20 in mind, and XP was scaled back in an early patch so a player would not normally reach beyond L16ish in the OC.
So you'll most likely have a good time the first 5 minutes walking around as a red dragon

D) , but shortly after that you'll ruin the gameplay and find it dull. IMO.
The only reason I could think of that was to simply see what the story is in NwN OC, but I would think it to boring to actually play through.

*sigh*
Damn.. that is what I was afraid of...
I found the original NWN pretty lame as a single player experience, and I was hoping that if I could at least make strategy more interesting it might give me a reason to slog through.
So, how on earth do you get to level 40? I'm just curious as to how the various epic feats end up playing out, and I'd like to be able to see them in action.

L40 is mainly for multiplayer possibilities - or replay HotU a loads of time

I've had little trouble getting above level 20 in NWN OC.
Mostly, by sticking my nose into literally EVERYTHING! I found a glitch in the pyres (There is another thread that I actually posted this), and about the only quests I didn't do were: THe thieves quests of Chapter one.
Biggest problem with that: My elemental summonings were doing better than Daelan Red Tiger. I actually left him at the begining of Chapter 4, and never looked back.

I'm not sure if I'm correct, but when I was replaying the original NWN campaign with a higher level character, I remember that the spawns were different. On the first main quest for example, I fought liches... which, in any game, shouldn't be around that early on.
I do believe that the original NWN is the only one that adjusts the spawns. SoU and HotU do not. I'm almost positive that they don't.
So, the mobs will be tougher but the actual boss battles should stay the same.
Again, I could be wrong.
If you really don't want to start from scratch, but still have a challenge, create a character in HotU, so the he or she will be level 15, and then import him or her into the original campaign. The scale should be just perfect and you should have challenges along the way.

The spawns are not any different. I actually imported one of my epic characters (32 i think) back into the original campeign. And now as Im playing with him I figured out that their is a glitch in doing this. I started at the prelude and when i went up an killed a goblin i got 350exp. And when i got to the main section of the game im still getting 350 exp for killing the effortless monsters.
