Ok I was wondering around and I went into an old fort or something and while I was in there I picked up an item called a broken shield. Doesnt do much but it wont allow me to sell it or thow it on the ground it says its a quest item. What damn quest I qwant to get rid of this stupid thing I have had it for about 4 days now.

It's a Fighter's Guild Quest, iirc.

Just ignore it in your inventory, unless you join the FG. It doesn't weigh anything. But it IS annoying to have stuff you don't want and can't get rid of in there.
