How Much Intelligence Do I Need?

I am making a Ninja/Sorceror using Zaur as the race.
The classes each require 30 intelligence to take, but I am wondering how much intelligence as my goal for the whole game. Its good to decide early as you can raise intelligence first, then get the savings in skills costs.
I think 30 intelligence would be all I need. Sure I get a small savings for more intelligence, but I have to invest more into intelligence too, meaning my character is always at less power than a hypothetical character who used points on other stats (in other words I am skeptical that the return pays the initial investment).
Of course I am unsure how devestating intelligence is for magic. I plan on majoring in nether magic (2 learning bonus) with a minor in arcane (1 bonus) for some blasting of physical immune creatures. Oh and of course the ninjas physical fighting presence.
Also, anyone else thought of good ninja combos?
My thoughts
Ninja - Celestial *good almost picked instead of Sorceror
Ninja - Paladin *why not take Celestial...are you really going to be able to raise heavy armor with no learning bonus?
Ninja - Marauder *redundancy in dual wield light weapons (new skill for both NOT same as cumulative learning bonus) a big turnoff.
Ninja - Knight *not sure what this adds.. You do plan on dual wielding LIGHT weapons. How heavy armor/shield going to help with no learning bonus
Ninja,Imperial - *unless you can dual wield light polearms which I doubt...do get extra bonus to athletics however.
Ninja - Sorceror *my pick
Ninja - Battlemage -similar to Paladin (hard to raise armor with no learning bonus)
I think thats all...I donn't think you can be an oriental in sisterhood.
