Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In

Hey Symians,
Ended up at good ole GB from a google search on a gaming thing.
See a lotta familiar names and a lotta new ones.
Not much going on with me. Still running my business and trying not to let it run my life. Planning to get out of the big city and move up to Massachusetts in the next year. I need mountains.
I have a little confession to make...I swore I would never play an MMORPG, but with the dearth of good single player RPGs, I finally broke down and started playing WoW. For a hardcore gamer like me, it's like heroin. I've had to force myself away from playing it all the time. It has had me thinking a lot about the nature of identity. Would be a good topic for SYM.
Hope everyone is well. I will try to contribute to the football forum altho I am getting a bit of a late start!
Love
Voo

Welcome back VoodooDali!
Just out of curiosity, how long has it been since your last activity, since I can't remember ever seeing you here...

Hello Voodoo!
Nice to see you!
lol! I'm much the same regarding MMORPGs, I've always shied away from them. But, my son was playing WoW on his computer and I was fairly intrigued. The only thing that has saved me is that I'd never be able to run it on my own machine
Interesting thought about identity... It's almost as though with online games people lead a double life. Or at least, I think it can happen in some instances.

I have little rooms in my head for all of sorts of identities. I only let the good ones out for special people though.
Oh, welcome back person that rarely posts anymore who has the avatar that looks like my crazy aunt.

@Magrus, That a nude picture reminds you of your 'crazy' aunt begs many questions. I'm not asking any of them.
VD! How dare you leave, when there was still hope for your repentance  - Curdis !

 She's just a good friend who is a bit older. Not actually family, she just kind of adopted me into her family unnofficially as her nephew.

Welcome back Voo, I hope you can contribute to the football thread as well...it's not as fun when there's only three people actively taking part in it.

Nice to see you back, Mama Voo!!!
Now, why would you want to go to the boondocks? There's no electricity there.

thx
Thx for saying hello.
I better post my football bets soon. How bout them Scarlet Knights too? (rutgers)
Yeah, DW we certainly have Symian identities as well.
For those of you wondering who i am...I guess I'm from the "golden age" of Sym. Been here since 2001. Who am I really? I'll let the other symians answer that, I guess.
Where's Gwally, FAble, Weasel, Witchking, Sleepy, Georgi etc? Still around?

Welcome back Voo.

Forget all the others you mentioned, I'm here, what more could you ask for?

If you're involved BS, I'd say she needs a shotgun and teflon underwear....
@Voo,
Yes, we do have SYM personas too. Though, to be honest, I'm not *that* much different in RL to what I am here.

The only real difference is that in SYM I'm generally less shy.
Gwally and Fable are still kicking around somewhere.... I think they recently found Buck's secret stash of moonshine in GB's basement, and they haven't surfaced since
Weasel occasional slinks in....
Witchking is, at the very least, on the endangered species list
Georgi, and more rarely Sleep, put in very rare appearances

There's no need for mudslinging DW.....unless you plan on wrestling Voo in it afterwards, in which case, carry one
Damn Gwally and fable for not sharing the stash

If you have a thing for women covered in slimy mud...you need serious help...
I know...it's very callous of them isn't it? They could have at least spared you some of the vapours...
