Is there a "skill cap?" I've been banging on spells just to raise them and I'm already on expert on many of them and I'm only level 7. Am I only limited by how much magicka I have?

Also, my agility is at 50 and "red." I assume that is because of some cap? I have no negative effects on me.

Finally, are there places I should avoid so I don't screw up certain quests? I like hopping into any dungeon I see, but I did the early heir quest and realized that if I had cleared out the moth temple dungeon I might have screwed it up.

Well if your stat is in red it means it is being lowered by something, like a desease (or poision), so you should either drink a potion or pray at a temple to get rid of it. It should be green.

Now as for skill cap - yes, 100 but you can get them over that with enchantments etc. Unfortunately what happens is that if any quest grants you skill points, and you are at 100 you waste it, it can't go over, so watch out for that (hint - highlight to read: Arena)

Well I do know that you should not close the Kvatch Gate before the quest is given to you - this has the unfortunate consequence of Obl Gates not showing up afterwards. Any other should be fine I think, can't think of anything else at the moment.

i think that it only goes green if it is enhanced by something (spell, enchantment etc) if it is just normal it should be the standard colour of text in the journal
