Jaheira Romance too slow !

I'm in Chapter 6 right now, finished all side quests since chapter 3, and I'm just waiting for Jaheira to start romancing before I go in and kill Bodhi 12 different ways. I've gotten to the dialogue right after the Harper attack and wonder how much more do I have to go through. Anyways to speed it up, console commands, magical incantations ?

Yer having the very same trouble I had when I went trough the game the first time. Jaheiras romance seems to have been created with the "sleep until healed" function. It takes a lot of ingame days for each event to trigger. I think you'll have less frustration by just finishing the game now and try to take a lot more time with doing things the next time around.

Did you buy her the amulet? or do the Jaheira's Curse quests? I mention those because alot of people miss them. Also, did you boink the drow chick in Ust'Natha? Because that will end your romances right there.

What amulet are you talking about??? I didn't know you have to buy an amulet for Jaheira?

The fat merchant in the docks district, near the temple of Gond, knows what a woman like Jaheira would appreciate. Go see him if you want but it's not vital for the game.

No, I didn't do Phaere, yes I did Jaheira's curse in chapter 2, got her the amulet and all. But I still haven't seen anything more than khalid-whining.
Anyways, last night I finished the game for the first time, and the beholders in Hell Imprisoned her. After I dropped a freedom spell on her, she went and told me to go to the Harper Hold in Athkatla. Pity, because she and her Staff of WoodLands +4/belm/girdle of stone giant strength/red dragon scale would of went to better use on the other charachters. Anyways, me and the rest of the team, still planted our collective boots in various regions of Irenicus' body.
Is the Viconia romance longer than this, because I'm starting my 3rd run at it now, and am wondering if I do it at the speed I did before, if I'll miss out on the romance, because I know chapters 4+5, the romance is off temporarily.

If she's still going on about Khalid then that means you haven't progressed far enough into the romance with her yet. Was there a long period of time when she wasn't in the party or something? Because in chapter 6, you should be done with her already.
But the romance sequences seem to be triggered SOMEWHAT randomly, so you could've just had a huge string of bad luck where no romance dialogues were triggered.

Well I've done the curse quest and I gave her the amulet. The latest harper quest I did was the one where we had to kill Dermin. I refused to do Phaere in the Drow city. So I've been working everything the way I should be.
The last dialogue conversation was her "How did that last battle make you feel?". So I just want to know, how much further does it go before she finally admits it? Thanks.

I found that sleeping outdoors, especially in forests, was key to advancing the romance with Jaheira.
Forgetting to hit pause and leaving the party bored for an hour may have also helped once when things seemed to have stalled.

For what I understand from the Jaheira plot (even though I didn't 'do' her myself), Viconia's plot is a lot faster. With my second run, I romanced Viconia, and the plot has been resolved even before I headed off to Brynnlaw.

She is playing hard to get but as said earlier the forest seem to "turn her on" that the only thing I have noticed but I found if you start flirting with another she keeps quiet.
She is the most fun IMHO she isn't easy and she has this attitude.

In addition to completing Jaheira's curse quest and buying her locket , if you rest somewhere where those subterranean creatures pop up in Windspear Hills, Jaheira will be kidnapped by a gang.
You will have a dialog with the gang leader and if you say "Take me instead of her" after you defeat the gang , Jaheira will first shout at you but then she will give her regards ..
This may be an additional trigger those who had stuck with the romance ..
And if you have read the Dev team chat , Dev team is proud of the Jaheria's romance and they also admit that it's the most challenging romance in the game .
Good Luck!

Does anyone here know the key to getting into Jaheria's, ahem, bed? I went through the romance my first time and won her heart by the endgame but never got to bed her. Any suggestions, other than cheap romance novels?

As far as I know the romances only progress during Chapters 2,3 and 6. Choosing the right dialogue isn´t that hard but the one thing that is important with the Jaheira romance is to get the dialogue where she says something about "a new dawn" (something along that track) BEFORE you meet Dermin (the harper guy). If you haven´t had that dialogue before killing Dermin the romance stalls and you will most likely find yourself getting annoyed over Jaheira´s loops(how did that last battle make you feel???)
To speed up the dialogues you could use the CLUA Console "cheat"....CLUA Console:SetGlobal("JaheiraRomance","GLOBAL",1)
But just standing around outside for a while gives you the next dialogue......I hope that could help anyone having trouble with the Jaheira romance...
