NWN consternation

Sup all'Ya. Itz my 1st post here.
Well, I've figured out a lot of thingz. Like the game is way too much locked ( chests, doors etc) and trapped, henchmen suck, maybe the monk is a right choose, but he sometiemz forgets 2 attack : F
Any I've been wonderin' about yar powerbuilds. Are they really powerfull ? Like from the startup till the end ? And why the hell there is no point in roleplayin in nwn ? CUz its made in that way or wut ? From my previous expierence with D&D games, like BG series, IWD series, PS:T I'm used to talking ( maybe in IWD its a bit cut, so dont take this title into account) and to solve it in many ways.
Backing to powerbuilds, Ive been readin a lot and I came to the point that there is no other way than to cr8 yar own char and just play it, but my technique looks like load\load\load\load WHOA I killed him ! SAVE ! Whoops, another adversary to kill,, which is generally the same like previous one. It's about save\load technique called "Maybe-this-time-he'll-drop-dead"
I always liked Necromancers and Assassins. ANy suggestions about these classes?
And 2nd issue, which lvl u r at the end of chapter 1 ? How do you expo your characters? Any suggestions are welcome [=

Firstly some friendly advice.
Eventhough you are from a non-english language (like many of us who use this forum

), please try to avoid "leet"/chat-speak type of abbriviations such as using "z" to instead of "s". It does confuse much more then it benefits you, and it might result in getting less advice/response to your posts because people are unsure about what you have asking. Also, "leet"/chat-speak does indicate a larger awareness/understanding of the language, so if you are having problem with your english, then avoiding such writing could be helpfull in the long run.
Also - please try to structure your post a little, instead of cramming multiple questions inside statements etc, it will make it easier for people to reply with constructive and informative replies

Yes, things are trapped.
No - not all henchmen "suck", it is how you use them which denotes the quality. The main issue with the henchmen is the spellcasting AI which is less then optimal, but I've found the meele/rogue hencmen to work pretty well.

Powerbuilds? Wich builds are you talking about? I also doubt you can have a powerfull character from level 1 to the end levels, because that would just be plain boring if your level 1 character could kill all withouth breaking a sweat.
Some characters and classes are however more difficult then others depending on your own preference. Generally - spell casters are difficult in the beginning but powerfull near the end. Meele is usually easier to begin with. Rogues are generally speaking the "middle way".

Because it is an "action game", but roleplaying is what you put into it. Play a paladin and play it lawful, even if the largest reward comes from breaking the law etc. But there was little to no inherit roleplaying in the games you mention, outside (as said) what you put into it. It is symptomatic of all single player games that I've played labled as Roleplaying game, but that is a different discussion for another sub-forum of this board (which have been up numerous times).

That tactic is inherit to most all computer games. You try to get past a challenge, once the challenge is over - you arrive to another. However buffing up and preparing your character can limit the "load\load\load..." type tactic, but again - that is up to you how you use the tools given by the game(s).

Have never played any of these classes, so can't advice you about these.

No more leet words, sentences etc. And I'll try to structure my posts, I know they look like they do, but it's the way I am, u see, I want to express everything in the shortest possible peroid of time and that's why it looks so chaotic [=

I find most builds are pretty weak at early levels, especially since I tend to go for mage/sorceror type builds. If you concentrate on the important stats for the type of character you want then pretty much any character will become much more powerful after 10 or so levels. If you want a really powerful build, I find sticking with only 1 or 2 classes is usually more powerful than multiclassing to 3 classes.
As for henchman, Tomi is great if you want a thief around. If you are a wizard or sorceror, the pixie familiar is also great as a thief.
Out of the melee henchman, Daelan and Grimgnaw are my favourites - don't forget that when you level up you need to speak to your henchman and they will level up too.
Henchman I always avoid, because I think they are useless, are Sharwyn and the little wizard gnome guy.
Linu is another useful henchman to have around, especially if you cannot use divine magic as she gets decent spells, is pretty good at casting buffing and healing spells when you need them, and can handle herself in most fights.

The build of the Necromancer could be quite a difficult build to play as if you want to roleplay as a necromancer then it would limit your spell selection. But at higher levels there are some pretty powerful necromancy spells so again they will become a lot more powerful after 10+ levels. Also, if you have the expansions then multiclassing to a Prestige Class such as Palemaster is quite a good build IMO.
As for Assassin, I never play as a thief so I can't really comment on that.

Thx, and how about a lich that Pale Master summons ? And I'm not telling I'm going to roleplay because it's technicly impossible in NWN. Just want to be not just-another-wizard-to-be-slain-by-goblin-at-lvl-6 [= I've been concidering stats like 8/10/12/10/18/10 and play elven necro. But I dunno whether I should give her 30 lvls of PM or just 10 so she could be immune to Crit hits.

I like the assassin I usually take 1 level as a shadow dancer to get the hide in plane sight feat, which helps with sneak attacks and death attacks. I have never had just a necromancer I went general for more spells, you can go general and pick necromancy spells without limiting yourself.

This is just my personal preference but I tend to only take prestige classes up to 10 levels as after 10 levels there are not really a lot of benefits from levelling further compared to the benefits of levelling up your other 1 or 2 classes.
My build for a necromancer would probably be a sorceror/pale master. This is because I prefer sorcerors to wizards. Wizards have more choice as they can memorise new spells whenever they like, but sorcerors can cast a higher number of each spell in a battle, which can make things a lot easier at lower levels. I'd probably level my sorceror up until I get level 4 or 5 spells then start building up the pale master levels, every now and then levelling up as a sorceror instead to ensure I got access to the high level sorceror spells. Quite often I don't use prestige classes until HOTU as I like pure sorceror builds.
If you want your sorceror/wizard to survive early on, I'd recommend increasing the dexterity as this will increase his/her AC. I normally have high dex, maxed int/cha (depending on if wizard or sorceror), low strength (sometimes as low as 6 but usually about 8), reasonably low con (as feats such as combat casting and buffing spells such as stoneskin stop spell failure from being too high in combat), and wisdom of about 12 (I usually use items that provide protection from mind effecting spells once I find them).

And last question, how does your xp rush look like? I mean the way you gather xp in the fastest possible way.

I don't try to gather xp in the fastest possible way or use xp exploits. I just play the game how ever I feel like and level up when I get enough xp. I'm normally at level 10 or 11 by the end of Chapter 1.

You're lucky then... I never get to that 11th level to get sixth level spells
So of course I'm stuck with ice storm etc. when I fight Dester.

mr_sir I got one request, could you describe the way you gather expierence. Do you use a support from another characters ( familiars, henchmen, summonings)? And what is your character, just describe it, of course if you want.

Spoilers so highlight:
I've played the game plus expansions with a wide variety of different characters. My favourite character is a solo pure sorceror with a pixie familiar (who is only used to open locks and disarm traps). I rarely use summons spells too except in chapter 1.
In Chapter 1 I usually do the prologue then explore the core district of Neverwinter, doing all the quests I can find. I then usually clear the streets of prisoners in the Prison District, then go clear the streets of zombies in Beggar's Nest. I then go back to the Prison and enter the prison itself. Next I finish off Beggar's Nest before moving onto the Docks. Finally I do the last remaining district, head back to the Core District and make sure I have all the weapons and items I want to make. Throughout Chapter 1 I also take all the henchman, but do not use them. I just leave them in the Temple then everytime I level up I go and speak to them and advance their quests so I can get their quest rewards. (I do this in every chapter too but never actually use henchman in battles etc.). I then go to the Chapter 1 Finale.
In Chapter 2 I don't really have a particular sequence, I just do what I feel like doing in the order I feel like at the time. The same in Chapter 3. Chapter 4 is pretty linear.

Sounds good, but I don't know where to look for the items they are seeking for. But this piece of advice may come in handy. How about clearing all the areas and then rushing on the final bosses like dryad, nymph etc? But whatta hell, got to try the game not on my own. How about this build of sorceror of mine. 8\12\10\12\12\18? Spell penetration, combat casting. Spells already picked up : burning hands, shield ( that protects you from magic missile) What spells you recommend?

To be honest I'm a bit lazy [= And is there any other way to rest than watching her\him sittin on the ground on watchning when the progress line gets to the end ? Cuz it's mayking me so annoyed, is there a way to make a rest like it is in BG series?

Not that I know of, but come on - what does it take? 10-15 seconds?
Besides, the amount you rest should decrease somewhat as your character gets stronger, I basically only rested for my characters to regain spells before "big"/hard fights.
