(spoiler) HK-47 etc.

Hi everyone
I just recently finished KotOR II and I'm not sure if I did something wrong.
I saw HK-47 get taken out by T3-M4 when he was asking around. Their conversation led me to believe that there would be further events regarding that taking place, but there were none. I couldn't find HK-47 on the ship, yet he was avalible to join my party. Conversations with him also hinted that he would fight versus the other HK droids, but I did not encounter any such after assembling him. Also, was there no point at all in the work of the remote close to the end of the game? There was a minor cliffhanger, droids between, that didn't get resolved, at least not in my game.
I read here about training some of the party members to Jedis. Most of them had very little to say to me though, despite I having gained influence over them. To Bao-Dur(?) in particular I was unable to say anything more intruiging than "Never mind." for the better part of the game. Handmaiden hated me and refused to talk and Atton rarely had something to say, but I did gain influence over him though.
Thanks for answering any of my questions
