in a dialogue box with atton, and option came up [Cheat Node]...what is this

Glitch

Its a glitch thing some parts of the game have, like with Atton and Kreia in the prison, it depends wat u did b4 the glitch , thats wat is was for me i changed wat i ddi b4 it came and it went away

It's a bug that you can't get past. You get it if you give the Light Side dialogue response when you first enter the Acadamy. Reload and give a neutral or Dark Side answer when asked to lay down your weapons...

For me its the opposite i gave Dark Side and it messed up, i had to go do wat they said (ls) so Cheat Nod wouldnt come up

So what does it do?

Depends wer u r , i was on Telos or w.e i forget and i was stuck i couldnt talk to Kreia or Atton to leave so it was messed

If i'm correct the cheat node is a special menu that you can bring up by doing specific things in the Jek'Jek'Tarr tunnels on Nar Shadaa but i never heard of it being on Telos before.

Nobody's answered my question!

i dont know what it is but i dont think its on the xbox version. ive played through about 26 times now and i never have seen this cheat node thing

Yea,me either. I've heard about it,but I don't what it does. Does it work kind of like the galaxy droid in the first KOTOR?

Its only if ur playin and u do somtin a certain way it might be on a diffrent planets but if that comes up u cant continue the game most likely so ud have to go bak to wer u saved last and change how u played like for me i couldnt get off telos cauz of it

There are two cheat node things. The Cheat Node device is on Nar Shadda. There is another instance in which you will get stuck on Telos and the only dialogue options are preceeded by [Cheat Node]

I were going to create an new topic about this, but since it has allready been mentioned will I be posting it here.

I've got this problem, when entering the academy on Telos this happens:

I've tried to answer differently on the questions to no succes.

My latest save is from when I defeated the HK-50s on the roof to the academy and were going down.

Anyone know of an way to solve this or will I have to start the game from scratch again?

Edit: Oh, and I've tried the 1 and 2 options on the [Cheat Node], it doesn't work, I get teleported to the place were Atris is at but the scripted scene won't start.

I've read about this same thing somewhere on here before. Try using the Forum search.

That question has been answered on this forum, and you could find it using the search function.

Anyways, you basically have to select another answer as the first reply you give when entering the Secret Academy instead of the one which lays down weapons immideately like the "Who are you" answer instead.
