I'm doing the next of kin quest and I've gotten all of the others bounty free but Caelia (the guard in leyawinn) seems to be impossible. I planted a poison apple on her and took all her food but apparently she doesn't eat, I'd plant a damaging item on her when she sleeps but she doesn't seem to sleep either, and I get a wonderful 1000 gold bounty when I kill her. I don't have enough grand soul gems to get 100% chameleon so thats not really an option. Anyone have any ideas how to do this.

When I did that quest, I followed her to her room in the inn, waited until she sat down and sneak-attacked her from behind. We fought, I killed her and ran away from the guards. Since I also was a member of the Thieves Guild, I could have the bounty removed.

I found the old general to be the hardest assasination. I don't even remember this person, so they couldn't have been that hard. It sounds like you're a sneaky sort, so yeah, I'd go with the old adage: "No matter how powerful the wizard, a dagger between the shoulder-blades will seriously crimp his style."

I made some remarkt to her about her family, after which she attacked me. If I would fight back I would get a bounty. BUT.....there is a civil watch around that does not like guards attacking innocent assassins like me.

So I ran around until they (the civil watch) attacked her and killed her! Leaving met without bounty. The civil watch was eventually killed by another guard.

I made the "I need to kill you" remark (it was either that or saying she looked like her mother which yielded no results or say nothing), and she accused me of resisting arrest and although I never touched her I got a bounty of 40 and all the guards were chasing me around.
