Missing body (spoiler)?

In one of the last Fighters' quest I was sent to Harlun's Watch to investigate why some people were missing. Fine. I was directed by a resident to a Swamp Cave. It happened that I stumbled upon it earlier and wiped all trolls in there. Now after dispatching three will-o-wisps I reentered the cave. There were a few more respawned trolls to kill.The green arrow pointed to the south. OK, no problem. In the most southern corner there were few dead skeletons and a couple of dead zombies. And one more alive troll too. Killed it. So-o-o-o... What is next? The green arrow was right here. I went to the adjacent cave, killed a few more trolls just in case. The game said something like "I killed all trolls and now I should look for the evidence that they were responsible for the disappearances". I returned to the small room with the green arrow still on it. Nothing changed. Same dead troll, skeletons and zombies. I heard there should have been a preserved body there. I reloaded, reentered, still the same stuff. Is it a bug? Well, looks like it anyway. How would I fix this now?

It's a bug, yes. Search the forums a little bit, there have been many threads posted about this.

I could not find any posts about this bug.
Is there any way around it or should I just hope it will be fixed in the upcoming patch?

It's very odd you can't find it considering there is a thread about this with the title - [url="http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75332&highlight=player.setstage"]Mystery at Harlun's Watch - NEED HELP![/url] (<--click there) - and the search forum works just fine.

It did not work for me at the time, sorry. Anyway, thanks, I finished the quest. I hope the patch will fix this bug.

I was misspelling harluns watch in my search..hehe

how did you finish it if it didnt work?

i have oblivion on 360 is this quest only possible to complete with a patch because i cant get live to work?
