One time when I was playing KOTOR2, I had just gotten into the shuttle to take me to the resteration zone, and the cut scene that usually shows the black Admiral; showed Carth Onasii (from the 1st KOTOR) as the Admiral of the sojurn.

I was just wondering if this has happened to anybody else, and if they know how to trigger it.

Carth is the Admiral if you have Revan as LS (and I think possibly female too but it might work for male - I never play as male so I don't really know about this).

I chose Revan as a LS male and Carth is also an Admiral. Most probably is the LS aspect, not relating to gender, in my opinion.

Yes, if Revan was set to light side, Carth will appear in the game. If Revan is set to dark side, then Carth would've died in the first game, so he wouldn't have lived to be promoted to admiral. :) Revan's gender doesn't make a difference in this case, though it does later.

Carth is in the game no matter what. It gets a little confusing because there is a few characters named commandar in the game, Carth, then Onderan military guy, & a few more I forget at the moment. The Revan LS / DS / Male / Female thing first lets the game call Revan Him / He or Her / She, 2nd it chooses what holocron you see / don't see at Korraban. Lastly, it has an effect on the message T3 gives you later in the game.

No, if you say Revan is ds then carth is not an admiral as he is assumed to be dead and therefore does not appear, instead you have a different admiral in all the messages etc.

He might still appear in the holocrons which T3 has but again I think DS get Bastila in those, not Carth.

Whether Carth appears or not does not depend at all on the Exile, it is purely based on how you said things happened with Revan.

I don't recall coming across that part before. As I stated previously, I chose Revan as a LS male and that didn't happen to me.

Carth is supposed to appear (in person) if you set Revan to light side. If you set Revan to dark side female, Carth appears in the hidden message you unlock in T3. I don't believe Carth appears at all if you set Revan to dark side male.

I stand corrected. Never noticed any other guy except Carth. But then again I do not recall how I set Revan up. I believe most of the time I say he saved the Republic..... hmmmmm

Ok I did it. I`m sure most of you already knew this but
Highlight:All you have to say is that Revan came back to the republic to unite the Jedi and the Republic against Malak

It should tell you in the GameBanshee walkthrough what you get for choosing how Revan was in KotOR I. There are a few things that change depending on Revan's gender and alignment. Whether Bastila shows up after the exile leaves depends on Revan's gender, but Carth Onasi being in the game at all (I don't remember T3's message except when Revan was ls, but I swore T3 carried a message from Bastila when Revan was ds) is dependent on Revan's alignment. And yes, if you're female, Disciple does talk to Carth briefly via commlink while on Dantooine.

Actually, I believe you only see Disciple contact Carth when you play a male character. The message in T3 is dependent both on Revan's gender and alignment. Who leaves the message (Carth or Bastila) depends on Revan's gender, while the message itself changes in relation to Revan's alignment. I kind of like the DSF message Carth leaves; he's at his tragic, angsty best! ;)

My PC was a male character and that didn't happen to me.

Really? Its been a while since I've played KOTOR 2 but I do remember that Bastilla's message was found in Uthar Wynn's room at the Sith Academy in Korriban if you chose Revan as DS (I didn't play DS but I do remember reading from different sources and they confirmed this).

Really? It happened to me both as light side and dark side male. I remember because it's the only time Disciple actually says his own name. It's weird that as a female PC you never hear it.
