I'm in the Giovanni mansion and I've tried many times to get to know dirty things about Mira, Christopher and Adam, but the persuasion and seducing lines of the dialog don't appear. I don't understand why, because I have 5 pionts in both charisma and appearance. It should be enough, right?
Hope someone can help me.

I've never managed that bit either. I don't think 5 is enough (at least not without the unofficial patches, not sure if these make it easier). I remember reading somewhere you need at least 8 so I never bother with it as I never have those skills up to 8.

I've downloaded the unofficial patch, but it doesn't help. Charisma and appearance can't get any higher so I let it pass than, to bad for the xp.

You need 9 in persuasion for Mira & Christopher and 8 for Adam.

Persuasion = charisma + scholarship.

So your problem is too low a scholarship most probably.

Even though I wanted to be thorough and participate in their sub-mission, I couldn't justify leveling up my persuasive skills for some change and only about 3 exp pts (compared to over 10 spent in leveling up).

Actually since many people (some on this board) mentioned how unbalanced it was to reach Persussaion 9 to do this quest, I talked to Wesp and he lowered the quest to Perssuasion 8.

Oof. I've been spending the points on persuasion 9, just for that quest.

I'm curious now, what are the maximum useful values for the various social feats? I mean, the values beyond which you will get no extra dialogue options.

Persuasion: I'm assuming it's 8, now that Mira and Christopher are easier.
Seduction: You need 8 for the girl in the red dragon, right? Any point to getting it higher?
Intimidate: No idea for this one.
Haggle: I understand that a certain amount of haggle will get you extra dialogue with LaCroix, but I've no idea what the maximum is. I had it at 6 last time and got some extra lines.

Also, for Dominate/Dementation: Three points is all you need, correct?

You can sell that 9th point of Persuasion back, activate the console by adding -console to your desktop shortcut.
Then in game hit the tilde (~) to open and type, vstats sell persuasion

Yes 8 on Seduction, think Lestat or mr_sir checked it.

Haggle the higher the more reward you get and better prices from Merchants, includes better value when you sell and better prices when you buy.

Intimidate higher amouts extorted money and possible information (?), but it may go both ways.
You may get a specific pice of information but they possible will never talk to you again, so if they are involved in more than one quest you could be out of luck. (?)
