I followed the side quest to slay the vampire, discovered the ruse, went to the cave to slay Siderion and then I experienced the glitch. Using my compass I was navigating the cave. I knew there was a ghost around a corner so I cast Summon Zombie to give the ghost something to worry about. As soon as my Zombie initiated attack with the ghost I got a quest update telling me that I killed Siderion and I shoud return and tell everybody about the victory. I thought that was cool, but (a) the ghost was still kicking, and (b) Siderion was not in the vicinity of my attack. I finished that encounter and continued the cave exploration, encountered some headless zombies, and finally found Siderion dead on the floor in an area I had not previously been to. Not far from him was a dead headless zombie (not one of mine nor one that I killed). I can only speculate that the headless zombie and Siderion ended up duking it out and killed each other. Anybody else have an idea?
