1) Whats the best way to gain experience in game so i can level my stats? e.g. A location, a shrine
2) Do all the spells that are avalible have some use during the game or is it just for designers to test their magical designing abilities?
Cheers

1) I like doing the Kobb cave because you can work on the demon door and they are easy enougth to kill. Also you can do this and then do the age reducing trick soon after once you get all the skills you want.
2)There is only 1 spell that was created for specific use; and it was Lightning to pass your training against Maze. Other than that they really werent made to do something special in the game.

You could also use the old attack-Maze-in-oakvale trick

Just hit Maze until the guards can't see you anymore, unsheathe your weapon and keep attacking him. easy xp, no damage(so also a very high cb multiplier)
Ohh, I'm not sure, but doesn't the berserk spell help to open the demon door in barrow fields???

When Maze wants to see you in oakvale, start hitting him until nobody else can see you anymore. Unsheathe your melee/ranged weapon or use a spell and start attacking him. Since he can't attack your cb multiplier will get very high without trouble. Very easy xp...I'm sure you already knew it though.
I'ts n00bish to do, but it saves you a lot of training time.

I never tried but as far as I know you get General exp when you kill something, combat multiplyer when you hit anything that would take damage (except for the dummy dolls in the Heroes' guild).
And if you use a melee weapon to hit something for damage you'll get phisique exp, same goes for ranged weapons for skill exp and magic for will exp.
