I was mucking about outside of Skingrad .... I think ... and I got attacked by a rather large bear, but not the ordinary type. Unfortunately forgot the name here. Anyways, once it was dead (ended up fighting 3 of these eventually) I found West Weald Bear Fang on each of them, and those are not ingridients but rather are stored together with hammers, soul gems etc.

Anyone found these, or their use before?

Wolf pelts aren't ingredients either. But if it sells, I bet it's still good money.

I would get in to explaining this more thouroghly, but it requires thought, and I'm working on a problem.

Could just be that the West Weald is making some nasty bears now adays. I have a feeling that if your not contracted by a hunter to help with something, then you can just drop by a general goods store and relieve your self of the weight.

Now, if you found all three in the same area, at a landmark, then you maybe have something there.

The west weald bear fangs have to do with a side quest. I have not completed it yet, (minor spoiler, hilite) there is some shepard living near there that wants you to hunt some of them down..if I remember correctly, I found his house northwest of that city

Actually I went back and looked around a little, and couldn't remember where the quest takes place. I don't remember. All's I know is it's bear season thats the name of the quest you get.

Well ... I think I went out of Skingrad ... and went the direction of ... you know when you meet that Count's something and encounter him and necromancers - ah yes, the Mage Guild quest. so diagonally and then I kept going straight. That's where the bears were. I am yet to go back in the game, but I'll let you know later if I find it, where exactly it is.

You went in the direction of Bleak Flats Cave? Allright, here's where I got the quest with the bear fangs; at Shardrock farm. About halfway between Skingrad and Kvatch. Ras'ava camp is on the road, Shardrock is a nudge to the east, and North, a ways into the woods.
