one of the corruption quests involving finding evidence to put the member of the guard behind bars seems to have the addition that he escapes from jail and rather randomly seems to attack you for revenge.
I figured all this out after it had all happened as I was in one of the mages guilds and by the time i noticed some dude was attacking me he had been swamped by the other members of the guild. 30 seconds later during which time a guard has somehow got involved (against guild people no less) and the guy that was attacking me is dead, 1 guard dead and 2 mages guild members dead...including the one i went there to see in the first place to shop for ingrediants
so basically amusing story aside i merely wish someone to confirm my suspicions that those inthe guild that died are now perma dead and I will never have acccess to their wares again?
True. It is very annoying for me. I am all for AI and the whole thing that follows it but this is just impractical. Same with the butler in Skingrad that falls off a bridge drunk, and is yet to help you with some quests.
For me, it's not cheating to use the console and ressurect those NPCs. I know I'd do it.
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.
Ha, at the current rate theres not going to be anyone left in Cyrodil. After being arrested for a murder I don't particularly remember doing (well i remember doing it but dont rememebr being caught ) I paid my fine and was standing around in the prison courtyard when my fellow criminals, Bleak mine guards and captian who I had avoided killing during that mission) , decided to kick off against the guards in what ended up being a 4 against 5 fight. Suffice to say the guards finally won through but the crims were all dead never to return.
In my game a NPC was attacked by a wolf and died. This means some quests could be gone now or some quests are broken. And there is no way I could have done anything about it. I am not happy about this and consider this a flaw in the game.
Afraid not. The side quests are completely fixed, so that you'll only get new ones playing a second time if you encounter new NPCs or try different areas, guilds, etc.
The idea of a fluid environment with guilds that pursue their own objectives in realtime, whether you're involved or not, was mooted by the design time before Morrowind was released. It was ultimately abandoned, because it was too resource-intensive.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
