ok this is ticking me off... i did a quest for the arcane university where i had to kill the apprentice guy, begins with an "m". Now no one is there inside the castle so i cant tlk to the count...i really need to talk to the count to finish the quest "allies for bruma" if u have any ideas plz tell me

You're ticked off? I got a PM'd complaint from somebody who didn't want to know that spoiler you posted. And you also ignored the sticky thread at the top of the fourm:

*bump*.......plz help i cannot finish the main quests without it...the skingrad count will not go into the county hall nor is there someone there to make an appointment...for the arcane universitty i ahd to kill hte origianl guy whos name i think was moctas or sumtin along there...i have also started the cure for vampireism quest which i need to speak to him AGAIN. PLZ any ideas wuld be appreciated.

Okies, slow down now, I must admit I am lost somewhat. Is this a Mage Guild quest? If so what is the name of it because I don't remember killing any apprentices for them at all ... or I'm getting old So one thing at a time - quest name, NPC killed etc, etc. We need all that.

If you can't wait 2 hours for an answer, you probably shouldn't be seeking assistance from an online board. alrite its an Arcane university quest not sure of the name but i had to talk to the count for some reason and when i talked to the assistant guy who arranges appointments he told me to meet him at this cave or mine location at 2am. BUT when u get there hes with 2 necromancers who try and fail miserably at killing u, but now no one is there to shcedule appointments for me to meet the count and i cant pick his lock on his room cause then id be arrested...now in order to complete the quest allie for bruma i need to tlk to the count in person for him to send help to bruma, hope that clears things up a little o and sry for the bump and double post but i was really annoyed cause i had nutin else to do in the game so hope u forgive me...

When you killed off the assistant and the necromancers, at that very place, the count appears and talks to you. What you did most probably and what one shouldn't do in this game, is sprint off from there so there was no trigger event for you. I take it that you didn't get the quest from count to clear off some vampires and vampire hunters?

Let me know, if this is so, I'll look up where is that in the quest - I hope you're on the PC by the way - for the console command.

no i did actually tlk to the count but he never gave a new quest or anyting and im on the xbox360 not pc so commands wulkdnt work for me =(...anyway im pretty sure the guy i tlked to, whom i threw a fire spell at by accident =),was the count but i culd b wrong...

Ah I see. Well the trouble is that if you're on the 360, we can't help. most bugs are solved through the console. I can only tell you how it went with me - count came, talked, got quest to whack some vampires/vamp hunters and that's it. The only thing I can think of is loading a game prior to this - not the best solution I know. Or breaking into his room, or maybe even going back to the field ... try anything you can think of.

aite, thanks anyway ill go check the feilds again if he aint there ill get my alteration up and use magic to pick his lock...
