Romance exclusion?

Hey everyone!

Well, after a month or so of lurking on this message board, I decided it would be polite to actually register and say hello... of course, the fact that I recently hit a little snag with my first runthrough of BG2 may have contributed to this decision. ;)

I had begun playing, and was in the process of romancing Aerie. I felt sorry for her, I guess, and felt that it was good for my PC to try and give her more self confidence, bolster her courage, etc etc. Eventually, Jahiera began making rude comments, and I was forced to choose between them. I sides with Aerie, and all was well. Now, well... Aerie is no longer with my party. I know there was little or no justification for it RP wise, but one morning I just couldnt take any more of her whining. I like her as a character, but decided that it might be better to give Anomen a shot, instead. Now, after all that rambling, here's my question. Is it too late to continue a romance with Jahiera? Since I have sided with Aerie, even though she is no longer in my party, will Jahiera and my PC cease to interact? I realise this has likely been asked before, but I couldnt seem to find it while searching... any response would be very much appreciated. Thank you, and thanks for all the help you've provided while I was lurking!

Anomen is even worse than Aerie, if you are male...and Aerie stops whining later...
It's too late to romance J now...

Hrm. There are just so many options in this game... I suppose I could start over, as I'm only in chapter 2, but I've gone through so many quests that doing so would be a bit painful. I like Anomen because of high number of level 7 spells he can get in ToB, while Aerie can only get 3 or so if I'm reading the experience tables correctly. I think I'll try the CLUA console option, and start over if my conscience gets the better of me. I'm trying to play through this game in a legit fashion, though I guess I've cheated a little bit by importing a character from BG1 (all those tomes, dontchaknow.) Ah well, c'est la vie. If you dont mind, would you post the console codes? Or would I be able to fix this problem using Shadowkeeper, or something similar?

I hardly recomend Jaheira - Just wait for her 15 druid level :D , you will not be disappointed. As for romances , it is of course persnal preference - I like her romance. The CLUAConsole codes are as follows :

CLUAConosle:SetGlobal("JaheiraRomanceActive","GLOBAL",1)

and later

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("JaheiraRomance","Global",1)

after the second command the romance dialogue sould start ot at least after sleeping somewhere outside city.......

Good luck.
