M'Aiq quotes *spoilers*

I knew he was in the game and I couldn't find him and then lo and behold I ran into him twice. The first thing he utters is:
"Everybody enjoys a GOOD fable, M'aiq has yet to find one"
Then he just ran off. I laughed and I lauged. Made me think of Fable here (not to mention the not so subtle dig into Fable the game). Anyone have any good ones?
EDIT: Oh yes, forgot from all the laughing the second was: "Levitation is stupid"
*goes back to laughing*

I found him outside Anvil. He said something about all the Argonians being far more attractive, and then ran off, again.

Umm... who? I have never ran into anyone spouting out random sayings, sounds to me like fable forgot his meds and escaped the home again.
The only funny thing I have run across so far, and I do feel like sharing, was a conversation I had with the proprietor of All Things Alchemical (or something to that effect) in Skingrad. Go and talk to the lady behind the bar, female Orc or Dark elf. You talk about necroes, fines for practicing and whatnot.
(NOTE: necroes does not mean necromancers as is typical, it stands for something slightly more perverted,

have fun.)

Phreddie, M'Aiq was a hooded character from MW who never told the truth, and always spoke of himself in the third person. He seemed to show up from time to time, and always passed along nonsense.
Now, he's back.

Hmm, so he makes his appearances in Oblivion too?

...necrophilism? :speech:

Does he wander around the country at random? Or is he at a fixed location?

No it's not a fixed location, he switches, but usually if you see a hooded character standing outside the gate, that's him. For me it was Anvil both times as well, but I know he's been spotted all over. I was kind of disappointed I missed him and then bingo! Talk to him and then he'll sprint off and I mean sprint off. I tried following the second time, no chance! I am eagerly looking forward to the next time.

He was outside of Anvil when I found him. He told me he doesn't much care for mounted fighting, and would rather eat the horse, or something similar. I thought he would have something better than that.

Fun fact: One of his scripts tells him to look for certain ingredients, with a search radius of the entire game world.

Hah! I finally encountered him, right oustide of anvil, he was about five feet away from the gate when I exited, by the time I had covered that five feet he had covered about two hundred in the direction I was heading anyway.... bah!... the quest continues.
Also just a side note: I dont know what triggered it, but when walking around I hear conversation in the streets about me, talking about my skills, and my body. The comments range from innocent things such as ' I hear your good with a blade' to comments with deeper meanings: 'Look at your muscles!', and 'I like your body'....:speech:

Yes, I get that as well, and considering my char is a lady it is really funny. No M anymore, yet, but I did hear something funny - in the sense of - Nerevarine has left VV and hasn't been heard of since

Finally caught the sneaky Khajiit. I do believe he is the developers little way of getting back at the fans who complained to no end about crossbows, darts, mounted combat, and so on. He has the mounted combat line and then this (or something along the lines of this):
"Some people require special bows, that take to long to reload, and that require special arrows, called 'Bolts'. M'Aig thinks these people are stupid"

It's the devs answer to the official forums.
Didn't you run across him in Morrowind?
Maiq knows much, tells some.
Maiq likes the new way of travel. He can still walk if he wants.

Of all five of my profiles, and all my many hours of play, not once did I encounter this smooth Khat.

He is standing on a small island someplace at the outer-northeast of Vvardenfell. Not really anyplace you'd go unless you like to go fishing.

"Some people like to throw weapons. This seems foolish to M'Aiq. If you hold your weapon, you only need one."
Obviously aimed at the people who complained that throwing knives and darts were removed (I admit.. I was one of them).

"M'aig has seen a dragon, but M'aig won't say where. Perhaps M'aig has not seen a dragon"
It was something along those lines. Didnt the devs say dragons were out? I know there is a statue of a dragon in the Imperial City, and the whole dragonfire thing. Is it possible they put dragons in with out telling?

Heh I just got that one too. Hmmm .... I wonder ... wouldn't that be cool? Perhaps it is an MQ thing? Maybe I should get to it then ... darn but I like my Oblivion Gates.
Oh yes, forgot about this one: ""It is good the people wear clothing. M'aiq wears clothing. Who would want to see M'aiq naked? Sick, sick people. Very sad." Heh.
You know mostly it seems to me that he is the devs spokesperson. It's kind of sad really. I miss the M'Aiq from MW.
I miss a lot of things from MW.
EDIT: Apparently it is MQ related, the dragon. I just didn't want to read what so as not to spoil it. Ooooh.

I have discovered that for five hours a day, maiq searches for of all things, calipers.
I wonder if someone used the cs to find what hours those are, and then in game, dropped a bunch of calipers at an easy to get to spot, if they could find Maiq whenever they wanted to?
