As some of you may have read in the other thread, CM asked me to take over the SYM awards for this year. I would like to please request that you send your votes to CM's PM box, and not mine.

This thread is actually both a poll booth for the original categories CM listed, as well one to nominate people for additional categories

Important Things to Note

* Please Send all votes, nominations and questions to CM's PM box

* Nominations for the original, established categories are closed. You may, at this point, only submit nominations for the new categories.

* When sending in your votes/nominations, please just provide relevant
information, wading through some of the extraneous comments while compiling the above made the process more lengthy than it needed to be

* A special pox on those of you who nominated people for best location and signature, but did not actually quote said lines

* When casting your nominations for the new categories, please be specific. As I indicated above, having to search for a particular member's location or signature was tedious

* I have not included any nominations where the said person received the same award last year. So, if you don't see your nominee listed, please check last year's awards before crying "foul"

* A number of you voted for Fable in the Lifetime Achievement category. I did not include his name in the list of nominees owing to the above-stated rule. However, if there is an overwhelming consensus towards relaxing voting limitations in this particular category, I will edit accordingly.

* Finally, this took quite a long time, and there was a lot to sort through. Such being the case, it is quite possible I made errors or accidentally omitted some of the nominees. If this has occurred, please let me know, and I'll do my best to fix it.

Umm, I just wanted to mention that "Don't give up... Don't ever give up." is a quote in my signature, not a location. My location is... Well, in the top right corner there.

I'm not detail-oriented at all, so I figured it was very probable I'd made some mistakes

Erm.. I just want to mention that I have only received one set of votes so far. You guys *do* realise that you have to cast your final votes, and that your nominations are not a substitute, right?

Anyway, I'm beginning to worry about catching some kind of, as of yet, unidentified rash every time I log into CM's PM box... so some responses would be nice

Oh, and some thoughts on the questions I posed would be great too

*Nods* Rav's got a good idea there. Use my nominations! As far as the newer ones, I do believe it's against the rules to nominate yourself, so...I can't vote on them. :laugh: Eh, there's a few I don't qualify for...I can vote on those I suppose.

Well if you have kept what I thought of as votes and which were in fact nominations then I would stick with that too. But if not I'll send them again if you prefer
