Red Dragon Disciple Wings

I used the search feature and it didn't come up with anything so I will ask here. Do the wings on the Red Dragon Disciple do anything? (expect for looking absolutely awsome
) A side question is what is the best build for getting to Red Dragon Disciple? Thanks you everybody on Gamebanshee!!!!!!!

Nope, the wings only look cool.
At least to my knowledge.
It depends what kind of character you want. If you want a more fighting kind of character, I would suggest putting one level in bard, and the rest in fighter, until you get your lore high enough to multi to RDD.

The wings don't do anything other then sit there. Whether or not they are "cool" is up to each player

The only place in the campaign where they actually do something is when you fall down in the hole in Underdark (With the ooze). When you fall down they move
As for the RDD, that depends on if you want a fighter based character or a spellcasting based character. Take bard and fighter if you want to smack things with a weapon or take sorcerer if you want to blast them with spells.

The wings would be so awsome if they gave you haste or something. Then RDD would own anything.
