Its one of your "natural" vampire disiplines... you have to add xp in that pool to to each new skill apearing untill the identify apear (its smart to do it to an other vamp than your main char... like filling up on haggling if you know what I mean, fighting is all you want cristoff to do
You can also use scrolls of coz... waste of money in my opinion!

In my accident instalation of patch 1.1 didn't work :/ I have german 1.0 version of the game so I install the patch, but when I run the game there is (at the bottom of the screen) that version is still 1.0. When I want to save i press Esc (pause) and when I'm clicking on button save there isn't any response (any window pop out as with load button). Reinstall of the game didn't work, I did this several times. What can I do?

I want to SAVE the game.

Are you saying that uninstalling the game and reinstalling 1.0--with no patch--then trying to save, didn't work?

By the way version 1.0 haven't this option (to save in any time), that's way I wanted to install patch 1.1. Only option is autosave that game do automatically. Any suggestions?

Note for future readers: even if you patch it, this can still become a problem with modern-day and possibly tweaked installations of Windows. Possible solutions:
- Don't install Redemption in \Program Files\. Back in the day it was just a folder like any other, but these days Windows tends to treat files in this directory differently. It doesn't sit well with games of old, as Windows can randomly decide to write-protect files, making it impossible to for example save config or savegame files.
- Another solution, if the first one doesn't work, lies with hard-drive indexing. Go to a drive, right click on it and look at the different properties. There should be a box somewhere (may vary with different Windows versions) to 'index' the drive for faster file searches. This box should be flagged to make it 'easier' for the game to find its own files. It's odd, I know.. but it works. Note that for the flagging of this box to work, the corresponding indexing process in services.msc needs to be enabled & running. If you're new to modifying services.msc, TREAD CAREFULLY and look up a few guides first. It should be enabled by default, but you never know.
Just sharing the knowledge.
