Problem with pop-up functions

I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but here I go.
I can't seem to get the pop-up functions to work on GB (such as when you click on a member's name or the search member in the members' menu).
I do get the dropdown menus though (as for formatting messages).
Any help?

Do you have an ad-stopper in place, or do you have any ad-stopping functionality in your web browser? Those are the first places I would look.

It is most likely due to the changes to the system which is taking place at the moment.
Possible view this thread:

OK, it's gone now. Might have been linked to the recent problems. In any case I don't have an add blocker (other than my slow connection that makes that I can usually close an ad before its fully visible
).
Crowed victory too early... it's gone again. Maybe the problem is with the connection speed.

I have had the same problem on and off for the last couple of days with both both of my browsers. And, I've taken off things like popup disabling... still no difference..
