I was wondering how to get in the room I am trying to get the Staff of the Magi and I can kill Shanglar, the warrior and beholder no problem (I'm still in second chapter and I'm doing good in battle at this point) then someone always gets killed by the vamp anyway I saw in the strategy guide that you can use an amulet of power he has to be immune to lvl drain but I can't get to where he is the door is unpickable/knockable. What's going on??

To be able to see Aran Linvail you have to pay the 15000 first or kill the fellow who wants the money and take his key.

When you went to the slums the first time Galen Vail(this is spelled wrong I believe) will appear right when you get there.He is the one you pay.

The Coo Guy ask for 200000 but later (A.K.A. got 150000) reduce that amount to a mere 150000(he send the boy).Beware before doing a choise at that time, evil lures at every coner (Expecily at the local gaveyard).

Hey Drakron, is this a different currency than I got? For me it was 20000 and 15000 gp. And are you telling me that thieves are good or something?
