Enserric The Longsword (Spoiler?)

First of all, I must say that this is my very first post in any Forum on internet, so don't be to harsh if I mess up. I have been playing all of D&D PC games since Baldur's Gate, and with NWN, I have even playd a little online.

But over to my problem:

Since the very time I played Hordes Of The Underdark, I had a big fan of "Enserric The Longsword" witch you take from the Skeleton King in The Hall of the Sleeping Kings. I just love him  . If you talk to him from time to time during the game, (Who doesn't want a talking sword with a little spunk!?) you find out that he is a wizard/mage trapt inside the sword. But would really like to be freed from it so he can seek out his niese(I think), witch is his only familymenber still alive.
I don't really remember in the moment if this komes up as a Quest in the jurnal, but I think it does
Now, when you get sendt to the Undermountain by Halaster, he tells you that he might be able to transfer his sole from the sword and into a golem. And on the Iland of the maker there so happens to be a golem machine right behind The Maker himself.(a demi something) But when I try to use the machine it says I need a key to use it. I have read some post about having to be a sorc or wiz to use it. That is for me a tiny bitt unfear if u want to "save" Enserric and not be a spellcaster. I seldom play as spellcaster because I think it's to difficult.(I said I play, not that I'm any good  )

Is it so, or is there something I'm missing?

plz Help

As far as I know that is just talk from Enserric's side. It could be that Bioware planned on including Enserric and the golem into a quest, but I haven't found any solution either.

Welcome to the Forums by the way :)

I agree - it is just talk, but it is likely that it is a link to an unfinished/unimplemented quest.
Seeing as you create a Golem at a point in the game, it is likely that thoese two aspects are connected somehow.
