How 2 get Back in Shamman's basement?

after I found out all the imps in the village were dead I went to see what I could find in the Village, but now I can't get back in the Shamman's basement to talk to the imp about going to the next act.

Do you mean you can't find the Shaman's hut (and basement) or that the game will not allow you back down to the basement?

Ya cant get back down the hatch, ya need to go back to the imp in the secret cave in the fire elemental forest.
