Armour and weapon descriptions

Post by Amergin »

I've just started this game (exploring the catacombs), and have a question about the item descriptions. For example, I have Rogue's Boots, for which the name is in grey, and an Imp's dagger, which has the name in blue. What is the significance of the colours? Thanks

I think it might have something to do with the power of the item. The brighter the colour the more powerful an item you have found in that particular Act.

When you have a heavy inventory, it can help you decide what's worth picking up.

Named items and items that are enchantable are two separate colors. Generic items are a third; there's a fourth, but I forget what it stands for.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
