Ok well I bought the game at eb games, installed it, updated it and plaid it... i only got to play like 10 minutes of it. took it out, put in madden 2005 and started playing..... my kotor2 cd is ruined, my little sister destroyed it.....
is there a no-cd patch for the new updated version of kotor2? if not then is it possible to play kotor2 withought updating it? or is it too buggy? i heard of people that said its so buggy that it crashes and you cant continue anymore.....

If you have a receipt (even a credit card receipt) for the game, try contacting Lucasarts about getting a CD replacement.
As for the update, I had no problems playing it.

The game may freeze or crash to a blank screen if you play
in one level for extended periods of time. This was typically
seen when playing the game between thirty and forty minutes
without transitioning to a new level or movie. We recommend
that you save the game often to avoid losing progress if you
encounter this issue.
does that mean if im on the same planet for longer then 30 minutes then im screwed?

No; it appears to mean exactly what it says: level. As in, level of a building, or ship. In other words, staying in an area which doesn't require any file loading.

All discussion about NO-CD patches are not to take place on GameBanshee, by request from the site owner, due to the "patches" close proximity with piracy. So please don't ask for NO-CD patches via GameBanshee.
As Fable has already said, if your disk broke, try contacting the companies behind KotOR2 and hear what possible replacement oppertunities you have.
Closeing this thread.
