give me my DEMON KEY !!

If you talk to the northernmost captive thief, he’ll tell you a little about the naga queen, and also about the sigil you’ll need to find in order to get to her (the sigil is in the western half of the temple). Then if you follow the thief to the western side of the prison, he’ll thank you for helping him escape, and he’ll give you a demon key. The key unlocks the door to a small treasure room in the Tomb of Souls
faqs above suggest that you will get demon key after you free a prisoner and follow him , but in my game < v 1.3 > he only tell me about naga,queen,sigil and treasure in queen's lair no thanks and definitely no key < i've follow him until disappear > . can anyone tell me what's go wrong ?? thanks in advance

I released them (thieves) one by one - as you said, one of them said a little about naga and sigil, second one didn't say anything, but last one thanx to me when dissapearing and give me the Demon key.
So it was no problem to me get it! i have game 1.3 patched as you.
Try again, free them one by one - wish u good luck

This key unlocks treasure room in tomb of souls.....and inside you'll find one of the toughest demon in game - it gives 1,800 000 exp ...and sth more...

And what is this somthing more? I haven't got this key so it's too late and i don't want to restart the game because of some deamon. The exp i can get also through some moon beasts, but what is this "somthing more"?

Me too. I talked to the last thief, he said a binch of worthless crap I knew, and gave me now key. wtf?! This is the third time I've tried to get the key, to no avail. Is there some order you have to release the thieves in? I'm also in v1.3.
UPDATE:
OK, I tried most of the possible 8 combinations of letting the prisoners out, and finally got the key. Letting that prisoner out first doesn't work, but I finally got my key when I let ALL of the prisoners out at ONCE. I don't know if there's even more conditions here, but to be safe, my solution was:
Kill EVERYTHING. Then SAVE! Next let all out at once (I went right to left on the levers). Then exhaust all dialogue options with the 3rd/north most thief before ANY escape. Finally, when he left, he gave me the key, then the other two morons running around like chickens with their heads cut off left.
This was annoying for me, so I hope it helps somebody.

Demon is hidden in sarcophagus and after you open it, you release him and small treasure (sometimes worthless but sometimes very valuable).
So and there is an amount of exp. after u kill him, and i think it quite enough to gain around 1.800.000 exp
If u need to improve your stats then it is the right time to do it, lol.
