Yes, it's just what we all need, now: another test. For a change, this one actually seems to be make some kind of minor sense.
Here it is.
My score:
You scored higher than 88% on interpersonal
You scored higher than 36% on visual
You scored higher than 92% on verbal
You scored higher than 24% on mathematical
No real surprises, there, though I think I would have scored higher on visual if it weren't so earlier in the morning, and my energy was so low.

Your brain:
140% interpersonal
60% visual
120% verbal
80% mathematical!
Kind of surprising this is, I thought I would score highest on either visual or mathematical but they are the two lowest.

You scored higher than 46% on interpersonal
You scored higher than 72% on visual
You scored higher than 72% on verbal
You scored higher than 62% on mathematical
That kind of sounds right...... I don't know for sure though.

How come my avarage is 100% but from Fiberfar and from Fable are both lower, I read something on the site about the avarage being 100%.

My brain:
20% interpersonal
140% visual
80% verbal
160% mathematical
Now if I add all these together, it makes 400%...

This was my score;
(My) brain:
80% interpersonal,
140% visual,

Because you're giving the "your brain" potential listed at the top of the page, instead of the actual score, further down. Look for the "you scored..." section.

Your brain: 40% interpersonal, 100% visual, 100% verbal, and 160% mathematical!
The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers.
How you compared to other people your age and gender:
You scored higher than 37% on interpersonal
You scored higher than 50% on visual
You scored higher than 79% on verbal
You scored higher than 74% on mathematical
So in other words, I use visual reasoning about as much as everyone else does, I use interpersonal reasoning less than everyone else does, and I use verbal and mathematical reasoning a lot more than average. What surprises me is that even though I got an average score for verbal reasoning, most women my age don't seem to use it much. Or am I interpreting these results incorrectly?
I'm not surprised that this test shows that Fable and I are different kinds of thinkers. Here's a question. Do you think the way we reason affects the way we look at our own reasoning? I have some ideas of my own.

I'd say that's correct, except that the author of the test points out the variables are their own choice. So...
Your brain: 140% interpersonal, 60% visual, 160% verbal, and 40% mathematical!
This is purely conjecture, on the test creator's part. I suspect my visual score is a lot higher, though I wouldn't care to guess about the mathematical.

I was about to ask the same thing.
Also, I just noticed that you seem to use reasoning more often than other people your age. Interesting.

I just noticed that putting in a different age changes the score. With a "younger" birthdate, my score for the identical answers were higher save under math.

I didn't notice any difference in my "brain" scores if I said I was male, but my scores relative to other people changed. Did you notice any differences based on gender?
Posted: Tue Jun 07, 2005 8:10 am
by fable
None on gender, but I only looked at the "you scored higher than..." section for comparison.

The idea behind this test must be the concept of multiple intelligences, first presented by Howard Gardner if I recall correctly (Maharlika will know more about this.) Since then, many differently structured concepts of intelligence has been suggested, some focusing on the senses, some on social versus systemising, etc, etc.
Your brain: 80% interpersonal, 140% visual, 60% verbal, and 120% mathematical!
So far so good (although I'd say the test results are completey erranous), I understand that scoring is relative, so 140% visual means 140% compared to my own average (which is always adjusted to be 100%). But:
How can be higher than average on
all variables?
You scored higher than 56% on interpersonal
You scored higher than 78% on visual
You scored higher than 47% on verbal
You scored higher than 58% on mathematical
I don't have time to look into this right now (at work, where else) but if somebody can offer an explanation before I come home in 6-7 hours or so, I'd be thankful!

Hey, that's my line! Can we share custody? Maybe Frogus would like 4 parents, it's supposed to be good to many close interpersonal relationships?

Remind's me of truly dumbed down version of the tests I took in 10th grade with the school psychologist to see how I ticked. I'd be curious to see how the results would have been before my mind ended up changed and taken this 10 years ago or so. I used to be excellent in math and science, now it's the other way around.
Your brain:
120% interpersonal
100% visual
140% verbal
and 40% mathematical!
My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 83% on interpersonal
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 55% on visual
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 90% on verbal
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 22% on mathematical
Well, I have no hope of retaining information anymore unless I read it myself, my memory just fails unless I read something a few times. I've always been better at understanding the way other people think and why they do so than most people, so long as it's not applied to my personal life anyways.

Also, regardless of how much I dislike most people, I've always been good at talking with them when I have the inclination to do so. Math, well I used to be able to do all sorts of equations and never needed a calculator, that ended when I turned about 16 though.
This test doesn't really surprise me, I've done enough psych and IQ tests to have a good idea of how my brain works, even if the doctors giving them are clueless.
Love how they toss the dating things in there...then again it WAS from a dating site.
Note: Your brain is 50% less capable of interpersonal relations if you're forced to resort to a test in order to find whether you can be compatible with another person or not.
