I've recently brought this game a firstly I have to say I'm kinda dissappointed with the requirements to graphics ratio and the mercenary AI (for gods sake they must've been kicked as babies).


Still I've had one problem that I'd like help on; when I gave Aribeth the last item required to create the cure for the plague, I was hoping that I'd be able to continue in town and finish my quests. Most notably I was waiting to return to the blacksmith and forge myself a magic mace and a suit of leather armour.

Though what would you know? I get railroaded to a totally new town with seemingly no way of returning to Neverwinter, with a half dozen bloody fairy dusts and Gargoyle skulls.

So is there any way to go back to the first town or make those upgraded items in chapter 2?

IIRC Aribeth should give you options to chose from. I think she asks if you want to go to the summoning room or if you want to wait (In your case, get items).

The items you got can't be used in chapter 2, but you can use them in chapter 3 or 4 to make better weapons than you could in chapter 1.

Yes, right at the beginning of Chapter 1 Aribeth warns you on this I believe.

Although I would have liked access to Neverwinter in Chapter 2, but oh well!
