Final Boss HotU *bug and Spoiler*

At the final chapter, when you see Durnan comanding troops to attack the evil ones. I show up and talk to him. When I am about to talk to Mephistofeles (sp?) he just attack without me being able to talk to him at all. I have tried to reinstall the game and I check for updates regulary. Anyone know how to handle this?
I would really like to talk to him and command him before I have to fight.

I can't remember having this problem. I talked to him, but all I thought was: "jaddy, jaddy, jaddy, bla bla bla...now let me kick your abyssal ass"
Were you never able to talk to him Fiberfar?

I was at one time, but all of suddenly he decided he didn't want to talk to any of my chars anymore. The biggest problem is to get my Monk through him since he does 3-5 damage on each hit
