Can anyone recommend a good freeware or shareware software for burning CD:s? I used to use Nero, but that is not free anymore, then I used Roxio and that is not free anymore too, it seems. Any suggestions? I always do CD backups of my brain image-files.

If you are just looking for something that works with audio files, I highly recommend CDEX, I've used it for the last 4 years and I've been very happy with it. It is also completely free.

EDIT:
Oops! This tool is for putting audio CDs onto your computer... I just realised you want the reverse and that it has nothing to do with audio. (not enough coffee yet :o  :o ).
This page, however, gives some shareware listings: http://www.free-downloads.net/sub_category/CD_burning

BTW, I just edited my post again and posted a link that does appear to have a page of the type of shareware you are looking for.

Take a look at http://www.tucows.com - they list a lot of free/shareware.
