Has anyone of you ever killed that guy. He is also with that Meavar guy. If you kill Renal by Bodhi's quest he doesn't appear and also if you kill Meavar by Renal's quest he doesn't appear too. Does anyone know its equipment?

You might try playing through with a barbarian; immune to backstab. Plus he's a tank in battle. Very sweet.

I better Explain This....
Arkanis Garth is a special character that is equip whit a special blade that gives 100 magic resistance and KILL whit one hit. He ONLY apers if you do something that Screw the storyline. A good example is by siding with the Shadow Thieves and you attack Aran, he will show ups and go about in killing your party members (and you as well).

Why are you trying to kill him? He gives you a good quest.

Even if you just to try to pickpocket someone in the thieve's guild and get caught he will appear .I don't believe he can be killed.

Actually he's a very good but all 'normal' thief (maybe fighter/thief) character but has an awesome blade. Although named as Rancor+2 longsword (you know it from BG1), it gives him +100% magic resistance, -10AC, +50THACO, +5 or 6 attacks and deals out +1000 damage. Not bad at all if you ask me...

So, with enough summoned creatures and stoneskins on multiple chars, is it possible to kill this guy? The sword doesn't give him enormous HPs. Would you get the sword from him (which would sure make things boring), or would you just get the bragging rights (which alone are worth it). Worth a shot!

I wouldn't think so .I believe he is not killable. I've tried but after the B#####D kill me the 20th time i gave up.

NOT EVEN THE ALMIGHTY CTRL - Y WORKS ON HIM.

Might I ask what the almighty ctrl y is?

CTRL - Y is a cheat key in the game, if you put on baldur.ini debug=1 on Program Options and press CTRL and Y at the same time when the cursor is over a creature it will KILL the creature (but you don´t get any XP).
