Negative influence

OKay, i have heard many times that negative influence has the same effect as positive influence....i.e. a large negative influence is a good thing. However, i am being mean as hell to that dumb little robot and i still cant do his repairs. Plus, how do you know when you are 'maxed out' in influence with a particular NPC? Do they have a influence score?

Download save game editor or a mod from pcgamemods.com. Otherwise check how far he is from your PC's alignment and that is a good indicator of the influence you have with T3. It is not just influence you know, are your computer and repair skills high enough to do the repairs?

I had no problem getting all the repairs done with T3 by being mean as him. Of course, my PC is full DS while T3 is all way shiny goody two shoes LOL.

Yeah i'm fully aligned evil. however my computer/repair skills suck. i heard you dont need that great skills anyway, i guess you just need much higher rolls when you have a lower skill. Any idea what the DC of the repairs are?

i think you need a repair of 16 and a computer use of 12 to fully upgrade t3.

Thats weird? No roll involved? Usually you have to defeat a DC of something or other, with the roll of D20 added to your skill to determine if oyu pass. Ru sure it is 16 require? If so i am screwed!

How do i get the skill anywhere near 16 if i have not got it as a class skill? Spend 32 points in it?????!!!!

Im not sure but i think its set values rather than rolls as it is in dialogue with a party member. You could bet the cross-class skill feat to make it a class skill and put a few points in.

a few? 16 is a lot. i guess you can get around +3 from items, but 16 repair and 12 computing for a jedi consular? neither are classs skills and without wasting points in intellect you get 2 points per level. Can anybody give me some idea about how to do these t3 repairs while playing a consular?

Repair is a class skill for consulars. Computer is not (it is the sentinel's). Consulars get 2 skill points per level plus int modifiers. Not as good as a sentinel but not as bad as a guardian of 1 skill point per level.

any advice where to get good equipment to improve my computer skill to 12 or whatever is needed? i guess i can use master valour plus implant, but not sure of others. thanks.

there is the skills implant which give + 6 to each but it needs a con of 18 which you may not have as a consular. Comp use is easier than repair to get through items but there are gloves belts and headgear to raise each.

Only 1 wisdom which is why those builds with low intelligence will probably skip him altogether.

However, T3 is a pretty good character to have along with the dual strike feats maxed out. His shock arm and unlimited shield makes him last the fights. You can regenerate his vitality points instantly thru meditation after full upgrade. After Bao Dur (automatic upgrade) and your PC finishes the upgrades, T3 can sport 18 constitution at the end so T3 has almost as much vitality as HK.

It is recommended that you select T3 for Goto's yacht since it can get a free +1 dexterity upgrade from the computers there.
