Nordom just helped my NO defeat the fiend from Moridor's box. Put him behind the rocks, where Fiend couldn't reach him, set to default bolts, and let him fire away. Of course, his crossbow couldn't damage the thing, but whilever he kept shooting, the creature ignored everyone else, allowing Dak'kon, Morte and Annah to take turns hacking him down - all over very quickly, with no damage to anyone.
Nordom is now my second favourite NPC ever, after Deekin from Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark.

I've been able to use Morte's taunt ability successfully on the fiend, too. Then it's just a matter of running Morte out in front, and luring the fiend through a gauntlet.

heh, i took him head on. wasnt too hard.

I took him with a strength boosted Anna, backstabs and lots of running. With strength nearing 25, backstabs become quite painful.

haha I did what Razzy did...I just smashed him with my pc (fighter), Morte and Dak'kon...no prep time beforehand no magic...just the fiend,a big ass hammer some teeth and a karach blade
