Does Aerie come back? (spoiler)

I've never romanced Aerie before this and i'm now currently playing through TOB. After that scene with the wraith at nyalee's. She said she had to go back home to make sure that her mother was OK...my question is...does she come back of is she gone for good...if she comes back is it a matter of time or do i have to do something...

this was one bit i really did not like, there is a dialogue option that will keep aerie in the party, (i don't remeber which one)

i knew i should have stuck with romancing the other two and avoided that whiney kid...well thanks.

I did all that...it came down to 2 final options.
1. i guess our love wasnt meant to be
2. no you can't leave...
being a nice guy...plus she was crying and ****...i figured she would just check on her mama and come back later...duh.

Well the second one is not final, but the options after that result in the same thing - Aerie staying with you.
