hi,
I know this has already been covered on another thread but I don' seem to get a reply so I thought I would start a new one. I have typed console in the space after the " in the target box and entered the game. However I still can't seem to get the console up after pressing the ~ and the ¬ keys. This is how my target box reads:
"D:\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" console
D:\ being my games drive.
Am I doing something wrong please help.

Hi guess what me again.
I copied the D:\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" -console
in the target box but for some reason can't apply and ok it.
Get an error message saying the path is not valid. Grrrrrr! Getting very frustrated now and actually considering uninstalling the game and playing another game instaed. Shame because I think it is a cracking game but I can't complete it without cheating, boo hoo hoo! How can I cheat if I can't get in to the console?
Oh well never mind thanx for the advice anyway.

A simple mistake to make. You forgot the " at the start. Always make sure to start and end the path with ".
The EXACT line you need is this....
"D:\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" -console

Hi I am a moron and tried to follow these directions. Do you rename the floder the game is located in that or another file or the .exe file or the shortcut? I also have windows 98 and when i try to rename a file it gives me the line you cant use " or /

make sure you are using \ and not / .
