Hey guys. I got morrowind for x-box as some of you already know. And i was thinking i got the wrong version. Should i now buy it for computer with my birthday money. Or should i just keep on with my x-box version. Because i didnt think about getting computer version, i now cant use mods. I have been looking at some mods on Morrowind summit. (Unsuccessfuly) And was just killing myself at all of those kool computer mods. Now im jealous and want to know if i should just spend the 20 extra bucks for a computer version.
Thanks, Techoluvr

Clearly, my view is biased, but in short, Yes!!!!
Make sure you get the GOTY edition that includes Tribunal and Bloodmoon, you can get the set pretty cheaply these days.

I knew if i was gonna get the PC version i would obviously get GOTY. Why would i get a regular game for $20, when i can get a game and expansion for $20. Im gonna wait for a couple more posts. But i think im gonna get PC version.

I was also looking at mods. The ones im really interested in are the ones that add like wings, houses, weapons, or armors to the game. And how do you use morrowind summit. Im having some serious problems trying to navigate through the site. I know its like the best Morrowind Mod site around, but i just dont know how to look up different mods and such. I had to revert to using Google Search.

Click mod database on the left.
Click Search. This brings up the mod database search screen.
Check off the boxes you want to have active for your search.
Click "search multiple categories."
The original site you loaded will now reload, showing just those mods matching all the conditions you checked.

I would also suggest checking out TES and Thelys. They are smaller sites, but well organised and usually current, and you don't need to go to File Planet for the bigger mods, which is the case with The Summit.

What type of mods would like the "dragon" wing mods and stuff be considered. Because i really dont know what some of the search things are. Such as tweaks, total conversation.
I would also suggest checking out TES and Thelys.
Go on Thelys, check out the petshop, robes collection and hunting mods, they are all by the same person. Tech, don't abandon the xbox, just save up your money and get Oblivion on PC and the box, as I shall. ;)

As for summit.. i personally belive that using things inside this red box are best way to find mods in there.. if you dont know the mods name or creator. (see link)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/polkja/kjdgj.jpg

If you select ''author'' it will create list of mods based on the author. (try Vagabond)

If you select ''Tittle'' it will create list of mods based on how certain mods are named.

If you slect ''description'' Each mod in summit has Dexcription.. and this option will find key words in descriptions.

After this you can type thsoe key words.. (it is on the middle) then you can change the way how mods are listed.
