Monster problem

hi everybody.
I am quite new in DD an ofcause I have a lots of problems with the game.
I am warrior level 13.(known spells: freeze level 1, restoration level 1, summon undead level 1, bless level 1. my beat weapons: bow and mace.)
I discovered the curch full of ghosts and other nasty undead. Ghost are easy, but my real problem is the Lich. It seams that no weapon can hurt him and he killes me everytime I try to slay him.
Other one is Troll King. He is just to thought....
Has someone a idea how to slay those bastards???

Work on the small quests closer into town. Build up your skills, especially Freeze. Build up your character. Spend all your stat points on dexterity/agility until you're at least over 60% to hit--then you can spend some on strength, as well, but keep working the agility angle.

Learn scorpion traps. They're very useful, too. Most of the best weapons in the game are swords, by the way.

if you mean quests near Aleroth I had done them all...well almost. Now I on my way to Warrior guil and Dwarwen bread inn. that all I left from quests ''near town''.

Then if you left Freeze levels and all of traps out, or didn't raise your agility/dexterity sufficiently, you have problems. Focus your next few levels on those. Have you killed *all* the orcs at the bottom of the first large map area, from the archers' guild in the sw to the orc encampment in the se? Have you gone up the ne road onto the next huge map area, and done the quests in the city up there?

no i had cleaned the area around aleroth only....and killed quite a lot of corpses and zombies around the curch, graveyard and adobend abbey..
