demon grappling hand

Im playing Hordes of the Underdark, and im @ chapter3.. nd i need the demon grappling hand.. apparantly i missed it.. where can i get it from?

You should get it automatically when you destroy the "Mimic" (I think it is called) - the Gem eating monster - so it isn't something you pick up.
If you haven't gotten it from there (double check your backpack a few time), then it sounds as if you have encountered a bug (patched?)
