When browsing the net earlier today, IE suddenly crashed on me. Now when I load it up I have no toolbar, so am unable to navigate, all I have it the title bar at the very top.

The other user accounts on my pc are fine, any ideas how I can get the toolbar back, please?

Thx in advance :)

There is nothing resembeling menus that you can right click on which will show the toolbar selection menu?

Otherwise - try various "alt-shortcuts" for the menu (I'm not sure what they are called in english) - for instance alt-f for files possible. Maybe this way you can get the menu which I would belive is called "view" (or maybe show) in the english version.
There you should be able to select the various toolbars and which should be visible and not.

That is about all I can advice at the moment.

Thank you, Xan :) I have tried the short cuts. I can get the vertical menus (such as favourites etc) this way, but nothing I have tried will bring back the main toolbar (the one that has refresh, home, reload etc) I haven't even got the bar where you type in the web address!

I am wondering whether, during the crash, I inadvertantly set IE to "full page" which, IIRC, loses this toolbar...but I can't remember how to reset it  it has been quite some time since I messed around with any settings on IE.

Full Screen is F11 by default.

So - to understand this right ... do you have "Files, Edit, View .... " menu?

Thanks again, Xan!! F11 sorted out the problem! :D
