How do I kill Kangaxx? He's still in his first form. I've tried everything, including using +4 weapons.It says that he's near death, says he's taking damage, but he won't drop. Is this a bug in the game or what?

if im not wrong he in no time at all he should change into his demilich form

it didnt matter to me, cos my efreeti was taking all the damage

so i just stood back, then he started talking nonsense and promptly changed into demilich

hehe...simply turn off the Protection From Undead you're using, don't you?

That another thing, I'm not getting any real damage. Every now and then he'll get me, but nothing my regeneration ring can't handle. How many hit points is he suppose to have?

Kangaxx actually starts out as a Lich and then goes to demi-lich form. He'll initiate a second diaglog with you, and you'll see a red burst shoot down on him. At this point he'll reappear as a demi-lich WITH FULL HIT POINTS. Actually, he's much harder the second time around, so get ready with the resets. If your mage knows and can use freedom, you might want to consider because he imprisoned me several times before I finally got enough whacks in to kill without being killed/imprisoned myself. I used the +5 holy adventurer to accomplish this.

To get the lich down quickly, I set traps with Nalia and then magic missled his ass before his protections went up. If you have the Ring of Ram, try saving it for the demi-lich. Good luck and have fun. This was one of the funnest battles in the game, and you are NICELY rewarded for your effort(treasure and exp wise).

BTW, Kangaxx will not die if you have your main char using a protection from undead scroll because he will not be able to see him/her therefore cannot make his "ill kick you butt" speech and then change to the demi-lich.... don't be scared get rid of that protection from undead....Muhahahahaha

Just set some traps for him...I used 6 to kill his lich form. When he formed and started bitching at me, all the arrow thingies hit him and he transformed. You can kill him several ways. Use a someone with a +4 or +5 weapon to hit him...just make sure the person is protected from the wail of the banshee and the imprisonment spell...and have your mage(s) use Melf's minute meteors...and have someone else use the sling +5 from far away. That'll kill him pretty quickly.

I have some golden arms and a torso which do not belong to me,so there for they are some elses,these limbs are not mine,i assume that their kangaxx's so one question where the **** is his head

I was finally able to beat Kangaxx!!
Problem turned out to be a glich in the game. I had to go back to a save, and fight him all over again. Before, I let him waste ALL his magic on my wizard's eye. Maybe he just didn't have enough umph to chang into his demi form?
This time around I hit him with my characters while he still had some spells left, then he turned demi, and went down in seconds.

I am about to take on Kangaxx (I want to get as much done as possible before chapter 3)
Well anyway, I noticed that when I cast a silence spell on Lord Roenall and his men (farsight then silence 15') they couldn't talk so couldn't start attacking (ie stayed blue). Easiest fight ever.
