does anyone know what mighty does?

i just upgraded my crossbow with mighty +10 and i have no idea what it does. can someone help me?
Mighty weapons adds your strenght bonus to the damage up to the bonus listed.
So in your case you can add up to 10 bonus damage if you have the strenght bonus modifier.
If you for instance have +1 strength you will add 1 damage, if you have +2 strength you will add 2 damage, and so forth up to a maximum of 10 (in your case).
If you don't have a strength bonus (10 str and lower) you will of course not recive any bonus damage.
