Ok im like off Telos just on Dantooine. Been rushing through the game in hopes of finally getting a lightsaber like a jedi in a jedi based game should have and now this horn head guy tells me i need to collect components to build one throughout my quest uhhh...... Ok what is going on im ready to quit this game i hate the plot why couldnt they have stuck with a master/apprentice role instead of me being past a level 12 guardian with all my saber feats and not even a lightsaber.....and some creepy old ugly lady to train me....

I'll try and answer your long and hard to obscure question...
Bao-Dur (the horn head guy) will help build your lightsabre when you have got all the parts, you will pick up various parts throughout your travels. I can only remember 3 specific places where you get the parts, from the Ithorians on Telos and Vrook on Dantooine and a Dark Jedi named Visas will attack you and when you defeat her you get a part. If I recall correctly, there should be 4 parts to the light sabre, and they're scattered between Dantooine and Telos.

You can also buy some of the parts from the Jedi thief merchant on dantooine.

Jedi thief merchant? Which one is he?

I was going through the game wondering the same thing, when suddenly I had one. Then everyone in my group had one. Just keep going, you're almost there.

I got mine at Dantooine, during my first visit there. I was level 12 at that time and Dantooine was the first planet that I went to after Telos. I did have to clear the entire Jedi Sub Level Enclave and help the Administrator fight agains the Mercinaries.

Niiice. But I restarted my guy cause i wanted a well rounded sentinel...im almost off peragus. But thx for some more advice ill be sure to make dantooine the first planet i go to after telos

Stop being condesending.
You do know that the game isn't even released in a large part of the world yet, right?
So simply show some respect for your fellow gamers and be polite enough to add a spoiler tag when discussing game content.
It isn't that difficult and dosen't even take much effort.

I got my lightsaber on Korriban, make sure you visit the Academy then the caves. It is much quicker than visiting Dantooine to get the lightsaber, albeit tougher.

The tomb in the cave can cause your character to go dark very quickly so make sure you are ready for the challenges if you are light.
