crystal frog (Spoiler)

Help, I'm so new at this game. Lame but here goes. How do I place the crystal frog in the chest in Mutamins challenge? I use drop etc. and the radial menu, but the frog just land on the floor in a bundle. Please help. I know this is lame and basic, but there are no directions for pick up and drop in the book or readme. thanks lady cee

When you click on a chest, the game should open up a panel where the contents of the chest are shown at the top and your inventory is shown at the bottom. So to put the frog in the chest, just use that panel and drag the frog from your inventory to the chest's contents.

FYI, its not the frog that should go into the chest. Its something that you can
cook , and its mostly white

Yeah, but you get XP for killing all the beasties which turn up...

Lady Cee, you can't place the crystal frog in Mutamin's chest because of a glitch in the program. The chest is supposed to receive the crystal egg according to a couple of sites. I'm there with the crystal egg and can't get it to drop into Mutamin's chest. I'm playing Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition, purchased from Good Old Games (gog.com) a few weeks ago. Your post, Lady Cee, is over 8 years old. No doubt, you have moved on in your life. If you should read this reply some day, you will know your plea was not 'lame.' The programming in this otherwise great game is lame at this spot. Since others have had no trouble dragging and dropping an item into Mutamin's chest, you and I must have done something previous to this spot that kept the chest from receiving the item.
Elsewhere, I can't place Gulgash's heart into the brazier. The procedure should be to click on the brazier, then click on Gulgash's heart in my inventory and drag it to the brazier. Click to let go. Nothing happens. This is similar to not being able to drop the crystal egg into Mutamin's chest.
