Best party combos?

What are the best party combos and how do you make them REALLY effective?
Note: I will not get rid of Anomen. (I want the romance)

Anomen's a cheesehead =).. i don't like the way he talks.. sounds stuck up.. haha =))

@ Valorhan - Everyone will have their own opinion on this topic, but from what I've heard there's no definitive 'best' party. Basically, any party configuration will have its advantages and drawbacks. Given the right equipment and spell options, any of the NPC's can kick ass... even Cernd.
However, I have my own opinion as to what makes a great party, but first I need to know what your character is like. The more detail the better. Class, alignment, race, stats, proficiencies, etc. Throw in as much info as you want.
