Problem with Anomen-Aerie dialogue

So. Anomen didn't pass his test (I'm romancing him, if that has anything to do with this), and soon after the test Aerie starts a dialogue with him "Anomen, I've been watching you since you failed your test" etc. Anomen gets angry and hits her. Sheesh. Anyway, that isn't the problem, but the problem is, that Aerie keeps popping up the SAME banter once in a while, and it's been quite a while now since the failing of the test. Whatta..?

Aerie has had other dialogues with other member of the party, for example Haer'Dalis, and Anomen has had dialogues with my PC and also some others, so it's not critically jammed. Still it the same discussion keeps on coming up again and again and again, usually after resting but also on other random occasions. So what's wrong? I've tried to skip it with CTRL+I but it sets up the same dialogue over and over again and nothing else.

Please help, it's getting on my nerves and I REALLY don't want to kick either of them out. Btw, I've had this problem before too. Could some mod have some affect on it, perhaps the flirtpacks?

I would suggest kicking Aerie out just for a minute (i.e: Kick her out of the party, then go talk to her and let her join again). I imagine that would reset her dialogue with Anomen.

(Note - kicking Anomen out would kill your romance, so don't try this with him).

Argh, it didn't work! I tried it a couple of times, but the same dialogue popped up after I took Aerie back again. Should I try kicking Anomen out, getting him back in and then restoring the romance with cluaconsole? Oh well, I'll try that now. Hey thanks anyways, glenfar, and I'm still open to suggestions!

Well, if you have SK, I'd suggest taking a look at the Affects tab for both Anomen and Aerie, and see if anything looks 'likely'. You can also take a look at the Global Variables, but for inter-NPC interaction, my guess is the Affects tab.

this is supposed to happen. i'm afraid anomen becomes very unstable upon the failure of his test. one of them has to go

That so, Thrain? Heck. Well, I think I can live with that. I'll take Edwin to replace Aerie, rock'n'roll. :D Oh and do you guys know a way to get Anomen and Keldorn from killing each other? I'd like to have Keldorn in my group but A) I can't stand SIR Anomen and B) I love __ Anomen. :D D

Thanks for your hints.
